Creative Manager (AI-Native Content & Motion Graphics)
We're looking for a Creative Manager who operates at the intersection of storytelling, motion, and execution. You'll turn raw ideas, product moments, and team inputs into high-impact creative across video, motion graphics, and static formats. This role goes beyond execution — you'll help shape briefs, build a scalable motion-first content system, and define how Calvinball Tech and KJ look, feel, and communicate as we scale. It's a hands-on role for someone who thinks like a content strategist, executes like a craftsman, and thrives in fast-moving, high-autonomy environments.
What You'll Do
Own the Creative Output: Lead the end-to-end creation of Calvinball Tech's visual and motion content — from raw ideas to polished assets. You'll ensure every output meets a high bar for clarity, craft, and creative quality.
Build the Motion-First Content Engine: Design and run a scalable system for motion graphics, video, and static content across product launches, social, web, and GTM moments. Create reusable templates, motion presets, and workflows that balance speed with excellence.
Turn Product into Story: Translate product features, demos, and updates into compelling creative narratives. You'll help shape briefs, storyboards, and formats that make complex ideas instantly understandable and engaging.
Run the Creative Pipeline: Own the creative workflow end-to-end — ideation or brainstorming with the team, storyboarding, production, iteration, and delivery — working closely with product marketing and leadership to support launches and experiments.
Push the Creative Edge: Continuously explore new motion styles, AI-native tools, and formats. Introduce better ways of working and keep Calvinball's creative output modern, distinctive, and ahead of the curve.
You Should Have
- 5-8+ years of experience in creative roles across content, video, and graphic design
- A portfolio that shows a strong mix of motion graphics, creative storytelling, and content ideation
- Proven ability to take raw or messy inputs and produce polished creative outputs
- Deep fluency in tools like After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, CapCut, or equivalent
- High curiosity and creative hunger — eager to learn new AI tools, experiment with ideas, and push creative boundaries as the ecosystem evolves.
- Bonus: Experience with AI-native creative tools (Runway, Pika, Kaiber, Descript, HeyGen)
- Bonus: Ability to shoot, direct, or edit live-action content
- Bonus: Past experience in early-stage startups, tech, SaaS, or AI, or background in agency or brand-side video production
